The International Conference on Web-Age Information Management (WAIM) is a leading international forum for researchers, practitioners, developers, and users to share and exchange ideas, results, experience, techniques, and tools in connection with all aspects of Web data management. In 2013, WAIM will take place in Beidaihe, a famous resort in China. The theme of this year will be Big Data. Numerous well known researchers from both academia and industry are coming to give talks and share their experience on BigData Management. We expect to attract more participants from all over the world and continue to establish WAIM as one of the major conferences on Web-based information systems.
